Gran Sabana
1Day 1 - Optionally
Option 1 . Transfer from from the airport in Caracas to the hotel. Next day morning transfer to the airport, flight to to Ciudad Bolivar, hotel accomodation close to the airport.Ciudad Bolivar is a colonial city with colourful houses situated on the banks of Orinoco river. In the afternoon visiting old part of city.
Option 2. Transfer from hotel in Caracas to bus station, driver passes bus tickets to Ciudad Bolivar, journey takes around 8 hours. Hotel accommodation.
2Day 2 - Optionally
Option 1. Meeting at the airport in Ciudad Bolivar. Flight over tepuy, jungle, Gran Sabana to Santa Elena.
Option 2. 8:30 AM pick up from the hotel in Ciudad Bolivar. Passing different small towns on the way in the direction to Gran Sabana. First stop in El Callao – town of gold mines, good place to buy jewellery. Having lunch in Tumeremo town. Next stop in the gold fever town - El Dorado. Hotel accommodation close to Gran Sabana borders. In such a scenario next day tour starts from Kama Meru waterfall (like last day of tour, opposite way)
3Day 3 - Day 1
Around 9 am we start our jeep safari. During a day we will see 5 waterfalls. First stop 30min from Santa Elena close to Agua Fria waterfall. We go down to cristalic waters of natural swimming pool. Then we walk by river banks to the place from which waterfall drops. In front wonderful view on rain forests of Gran Sabana.
Next we stop at place where film about dinozaurus was made. Easily you can visualize them. After that Quebrada de Jaspe. Spectacular cascade of water and red jaspis stone. Bottom of river cover by red and black stone looks like fur of tiger. We eat lunch at indian village - San Francisco. Continue our trip to wide and powerfull Arapena waterfall. Depending on level of waters perhaps we can go under water courtine. At the end swim at La picina Pool - small swimming pool and chairs of stone under shower o dropping warm waters of waterfall . In the evening we come back to the hotel in Santa Elena
4Day 4 - Day 2
Around 9 am we go to Saroape waterfall. Many natural baths where you can see and enjoy water masage, swim in natural, cooling pool or sit under drops of waterfall. Next visit in El Oso. Wonderfull place to take pictures of tepui - table mountains inspired Conana Doyle'a to write a book "Lost world". We continue the trip to 55m strong waterfall of Kama Meru. At the end Salto Kawi waterfall. In the evening we come back to Santa Elena. Next day morning opcionally flight to Canaima and starting the tour to Salto Angel.

How to get there?
Flight by aviette from Ciudad Bolivar to Santa Elena, bus connectios from Caracas to Ciudad Bolivar or Puerto Ordaz around 8 hours from Ciudad Bolivar or Puerto Ordaz to Santa Elena around 9 hours.
As trip starts from the morning you have to get to Santa Elena the day before.
Payment terms
- 30% advance paid on company bank account at least 7 days before trip starts
- remaining amount paid in cash in Venezuela
- split from the group, resignation from program during a trip does not give the right to claim paid amount back

Standard of our hotels
All hotels are touristic standard with clean and nice rooms with showers.
Equipment and clothes
The sun is quite strong even in rain season when temperature is around 30°C. Recommended sport clothes, comfortable hiking shoes, hats against sun, cotton clothes covering all body, rain jacket, sun protection with high protector, repellents, basic medicines/first help aid, torch, plastic bags.
Vaccines and visa
In Venezuela not required but recommended (WZW, tezec), yellow fever certificate obligatory to cross the Brasilian border.
