Canaima Salto Angel

Day 1 - Two options

Option 1 . Transfer from from the airport in Caracas to the hotel. Next day morning transfer to the airport, flight to to Ciudad Bolivar, hotel accomodation close to the airport.Ciudad Bolivar is a colonial city with colourful houses situated on the banks of Orinoco river. In the afternoon visiting old part of city.

Option 2. Transfer from hotel in Caracas to the bus station, driver passes bus tickets. Going around 8 h to Ciudad Bolivar. Hotel accommodation close to the airport.

Day 2 - Ciudad Bolivar / Canaima

Meeting at Ciudad Bolivar airport. Flight by 5 persons aviettes over the jungle and riverso to lagun in Canaima National Park. Lagun is surrounded by jungle, El Sapo and El Sapito waterfalls are dropping into it, sandy beach and moriche palms. Place is habited by Indians Pemon. Transfer to the boat stadion, from where we start a tour by Carraro and Churun rivers up to the camp deeply in the jungle with view on Salto Angel waterfall. Having lunch on the way under a small waterfall, possible to take a bath. In the afternoon getting to the camp. Dinner. That night we sleep in hammocks. The camp has toilets and showers.

Day 3 - Canaima

After breakfast we leave luggage in tha camp and walking thru the jungle, next climbing to the view point around 800 m high on Salto Angel. Going down to natura swimming pool at foot of Salto Angel, where we can swim. Doming back to the camp wher we left our luggage, lunch. In the afternoon we start doming back by boats to the lagun. Accommodations in rooms with private showers. Dinner.

Day 4 - Canaima / Ciudad Bolivar

Alter breakfast we go under the curtains of El Sapo waterfall, relax in lagun. Around noon flight by aviettes to Ciudad Bolivar / or Optionally continue the flight to Santa Elena to see Gran Sabana or attend Roraima trekking.
