Autana Tepuy Amazonas

1Day 1 - Piaroa Indian Community

Transfer from Puerto Ayacucho at 9 am to Samariapo port 60km by car. We start a tour by Orinoco river with fast baot, mid day we reach Sipapo river where we have lunch in picnic style. By end of the day we reach Autana river, make a camp in Piaroa Indian community.

2Day 2 - Autana tepuy view point

After breakfast and packing the equipment we get by Autana river to Raudal de Ceguera, where we camp, have a lunch and then start walk up 2h to the view point Uripika from where Autana tepuy is perfectly visable. On the way the guide we present us how to find tarantulas, miners frog in the jungle. Before night we come back to the camp for dinner.

3Day 3 - Way back

We start going back the same way how we got here. For a lunch we stop at the nice beach of Orinoco river to take a bath. After reaching Samariapo port transfer to Puerto Ayacucho.
